Dimapur is regarded as one of the fastest growing towns in India. It is the biggest town in Nagaland. Dimapur is situated in the foothill area of the southwestern part of Nagaland bordering Karbialong District of Assam.

It is 75 km away from the state capital Kohima. Dimapur has the only Airport in Nagaland and is also well connected with the neighboring states of Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram by National Highway No.39. It is, therefore, regarded as the heart of northeast India because of its strategic location and easy access to rest of India and beyond.

The campus is situated by the side of river Jordan (named by UCTM; generally known as Chathe river or Pagla nadi) at the 5th mile of Dimapur to Kohima road, opposite Nagaland Highway Bamboo Resource Center on 39 National Highway. Thus it is located at an ideal place free from pollution and noisy world thereby offering a healthy environment and perfect settlement for meditation and study purposes
