ADMISSION PROCESS

Welcome! We are glad that you have chosen to apply for a course. Please read through the requirements as you make plan to join our community.

3.1 Admission Requirements

3.2 Required Documents for Admission Procedure

  • Online/Offline Application Form with Non-refundable Application Fee of Rs.200.
  • Non-refundable Application Fee: Rs.200 (for both Online/Offline applicants). The application will not be processed unless the fee is received. The applicant may send the fee by bank wire to:

Checklist: If you meet the above requirements, the following documents will be required in hard copy after your online form is accepted.

  • Christian Commitment Form
  • Medical Certificate
  • Financial Affidavit dully filled by the applicant or sponsor(s)
  • Two Recommendations: the recommender should send the completed UCTM Recommendation Form with his/her signature and seal on the envelop letter.
  • Three recent passport photos.
  • Self-attested photo copy of all your academic transcripts.
  • A written personal statement of Christian experience and a clear sense of call for full-time Christian ministry.
  • Spousal Statement/Parents: if applicable, the applicant’s spousal/parental consent letter regarding his or her thoughts and feelings regarding your desire to attend UCTM. 
  • The complete application package can be post-mailed directly to the UCTM Admissions Office or submitted in person. (Or) All the forms in the application (download application) should be submitted in person, duly filled and the documents attached, after your online application form is accepted.

 

Master of Divinity

Bachelor graduates from accredited/affiliated colleges who have a minimum of one year practical ministry experience after graduation may be considered for admission to the MDiv program.  They will be required to pass entrance tests in English, Bible and General Knowledge. When admitted the candidates will be on academic probation during the first year of study. If the student shows poor academic performance in the first two semesters he or she will be awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Mission Studies.

Bachelor of Theology

Candidates should have successfully completed the pre-university course or its equivalent. Students who are awaiting results may apply. Such candidates will have to produce the grades of the previous course completed. If admitted they should produce completion certificate before the end of the first semester. Special senate quota for mature candidates who are above 25 years and above having ministerial experience will be eligible for bachelor degree even though they are not XII passed.

Diploma in Mission Studies

Candidates should hold High School leaving Certificate or above. A special preference will be given to the candidates with ministerial experience.

Certificate in Mission Studies

Candidates should have working English knowledge. A special preference can be given to the candidates with ministerial experience.

Short Term Missionary Course

Applicants for Missionary Orientation Course must be mature candidates above 25 years of age with a reasonable proficiency in English language. University graduates, pre-University, High School passed candidates may also apply for this program.

Note: At the time of admission, original certificates should be submitted to the office. These shall be returned to the students on completion of the course.

 4.3 Orientation of New Students

New students are welcomed to campus by an orientation program designed to help them adjust to UCTM life. Information regarding all aspects of UCTM is provided and ample opportunities to meet other students, faculty, and staff.
